Free tool
Create structured data for your pages without writing code. Our free schema generator builds JSON-LD for FAQ, Product, Organisation and Article pages, and checks it as you go.
JSON-LD, ready to paste · 4 schema types · Built-in checks · Free, no sign-up
Which schema do you need?
Structured data describes what a page is about in a form search engines can read reliably. Start with the type that matches the page. Before you add more, read what schema can and cannot do for AI search.
Organisation
Connects your website, logo and social profiles to one business. Add it once, usually on the homepage.
Product
Price, availability, brand and reviews. Shopify themes usually include this already, so check before adding your own.
Article
Headline, author and dates. Clear author details help show expertise to search engines and AI tools.
FAQ
Marks up questions answered on the page. Google now shows FAQ rich results only for government and health sites, so clear answers on the page matter more than the markup.
FAQ
Schema markup is code, usually in JSON-LD format, that describes a page in a way search engines and AI tools can read reliably. It can make pages eligible for rich results such as star ratings and product prices.
It helps AI tools understand who you are, what you sell and what your pages answer. It is one signal among many, alongside clear content, trust signals and mentions elsewhere, but it removes guesswork.
Most Shopify themes already output Product and Organisation markup. Test your page in Google's Rich Results Test first. Adding a second Product block can create duplicates, so use the generator to fill gaps rather than repeat what is there.
Google now shows FAQ rich results only for well-known government and health sites. FAQ markup is still useful because it helps search engines and AI tools pick out your answers.
No. The generator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded or stored.
